Kim McCullogh of Total Female Hockey runs fitness programs, team training, hockey camps, coaches female hockey, and coaches at PEAC. She is currently promoting this family day camp for girls at Chesswood. Here it is:
"Speed kills in girls hockey. But speed isn't just about how fast you
can get from point A to point B. Your "straightaway" speed is important
but it is just one small aspect of speed that you need to be working on.
There are 3 types of QUICKNESS you must develop in order
to perform your best during playoffs, tryouts and beyond.
They are quick FEET, quick HANDS and quick RELEASE shooting."
"FAMILY DAY SPEED & QUICKNESS CAMP: Monday Feb 18th
For those of you who live in the GTA, we'll be working on all 3
of these areas at the Total Female Hockey Family Day Speed
Camp on Monday February 18th in Toronto. The camp runs
from 8:45am to 11:45am at Chesswood Arena and includes
1.5 hours of on-ice training and 1.5 hours of off-ice training.
The group is split into atom/peewee & bantam/midget groups.
Space is limited so register soon!"
