One of our viewers popped in to check for a review of Arena Pro Hockey. I did watch a few youth Arena Pro games this summer at the Midget Level. It was nice to watch 5 on 5 hockey instead of the usual summer 3 on 3. The defenseman that I was watching had a chance to skate, hang out with his friends and still be a defenseman. He just really just does not enjoy the 3 on 3 format, so it was a good choice for him. The league was fairly balanced, and the reffing and organization were just fine. The parents enjoyed watching from the South Fletcher's Arena restaurant (Brampton) where the draft beer was particularly frosty.
What else could you ask for? Here's my previous Arena Pro post. http://hockeyzine.blogspot.ca/2012/03/arena-pro.html
Youth leagues are only offered in the summer. In the winter a men's recreational league is offered. Here is the link: http://x.arenapro.com/programs.php
