The Zone

The Zone is offering a PA Day Camp this Friday - as well as some winter development programs.  Check the link at the bottom:
PA Day Camp – Nov 18th - $95+HST
We have a Shooting & Power Skating camp this Friday and it runs from 8:30am – 3:30pm. Players receive (2) 1.5 hour ice sessions and (2) 1 hour off-ice sessions. Goalies may attend for $45+tax however there is no formal goalie instruction. Details below:

Ages: 9 & Under & 10-13

Introduction to Power Skating Program - $95+HST
This program is and introductory power skating program for children who can skate forwards and backwards, but need help with stride efficiency, cross-overs, tight turns, and stopping. Full equipment is required.
Date: November 30th – December 21st (Wednesdays)
Time: 5:30pm
Ages: 6-9
Cost: $95+tax
Defensive Specialist Program - $145 (for remainig 5 weeks)
The Defensive Specialist program covers advanced techniques and strategies specifically for defencemen. Our staff will teach players specific skating, puck control, passing and shooting. Players will also be taught angling techniques and specific “read and react” skills.
NOVEMBER 8th – DECEMBER 13TH (TUESDAYS)
6:30pm - Ages 9-12

Shooting & Puck Skills Program - $175+HST
The Zone Training shooting & puck skills program focuses on stationary shooting technique including wrist shots, snap shots, and quick release along with drills that incorporate passing, agility, and stick handling. The ability to control the puck and shoot with a quick release is a necessity for all players looking to compete at a higher level. This is a 6 week program.

NOVEMBER 16TH – DECEMBER 21ST (WEDNESDAYS)
6:30pm – Ages 10 & Over (2 spots available)
Power Skating + Pucks! (8 Weeks) - $245
This new innovative program will focus on traditional power skating techniques but will also incorporate puck handling, passing and shooting in stride. Players will work on such things as protecting the puck, tight turns and where to position your hands when turning, shooting in-stride, passing while at full speed, etc. Our power skating instructor will focus on the power skating technique, while our other instructor touches on the puck skill that should be focused on throughout that same drill. This will no doubt be one of our most popular programs we've had to date - don't miss out and register soon!
