An OMHA Base Category Review http://www.omha.net/admin/downloads/Forms2011/APP2-Base%20Category%20Review%20Form%20-%202011-2012.pdf is a form used for a centre to request that it's base (whether A, AA or BB) be changed. The grounds for review are:

"• Record by division in Playdowns over a five-year period (Each Team)
• Record in league over a five-year period (Each Team)
• Category of other centres in league
• Record of each game played including centre, category & score of team played in any league, exhibition, or
tournament game for the current season (Each Team)
• Any extenuating circumstances to be considered"
The change in the OMHA player movement may be causing some centres to consider changing to attract more members/players. It is interesting then that the form for 2011/2012 is to be submitted by May 31 2011. Aren't most tryouts in April? What are our kids trying out for if the centre and the OMHA don't know? Any ideas or comments?
