Goalie Training - a Goalie Parent

When your kid's hockey becomes all encompassing, why not buy a hockey school.  One example is Moe Tanel who owns Team Shutout Goalie School at Varsity Hockey in Brampton.  There's an interview with one of his sons Daniel Tanel at the sportseast.ca website.  19-year-old Acadie-Bathurst Titan is a defenceman and in the article, talks about his brother, goaltender Matt Tanel." "He was a goaltender with the Mississauga Ice Dogs," said Tanel, a native of Brampton, Ont. now in his third season with the Titan. "When my brother became a goaltender, my dad enrolled him in a goalie school and eventually became good friends with the guy who owned it and became an instructor for the goalie school. Then (eventually) my dad bought the school." "  Check out the rest of the story at http://sports.canadaeast.com/article/981448

Team Shutout Goalie School at Varsity Hockey was a good solid spot to take my goalie for regular goalie lessons.  As always, you need to shop around and decide on which trainer suits your goaltender's personality and style, but goaltenders often need regular practice and reviews away from their teams.  This is a convenient and well organized place to get that regular training.
